All these suites offer exciting and unique charms of theme based accommodation. The entire park is split into ten individually-themed trailer suites that feature their own separate lounge, a pleasant viewing deck and on-site bathrooms. On the down-low, each unit accommodates two adults, with the lounge area doubling up as the kids’ bedroom, provided you have any. The list of individually-themed airstream trailers include:
Apart from this, there are two unique Airstream trailers at the lake that overlook the bottom of a dam, offering some spectacular views:
Both of these will accommodate only two adults, and are a bit smaller than the rest of the trailers. That being said, they still offer en-suite facilities and are perfect for newlyweds or those who need some peace and quiet. The Lakeside suites, unfortunately, don’t offer additional living areas or lounge decks.
Finally, there is “Daddy’s Villa,” a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom forest cabin that is suitable for large families and/or wedding receptions. The villa is self-catering, allowing guests to cook their own meals, and even order packed meats from the restaurant.
The barn at Old Mac Daddy isn’t your everyday farming barn, and can even sound misleading! The barn is the resort’s communal area, a place The Barn is most notable for its supreme design and architecture, resembling a work of art more than a barn. Apart from being a meeting point for guests, the barn also houses the resorts eatery, where guests can gather for a healthy wholesome meal or treat themselves to various other delights, open throughout the day. It is also notable for using only the freshest ingredients, most of which are free-range, and locally sourced. Resident chef, Siya Mnguni, along with restaurateur, Gordon Manuel, work hard to make sure that only the hottest food with the best ingredients is served to guests. The barn is a child-friendly zone and features an indoor-outdoor play area that has everything they need from toys to kid-friendly menus. More great news is that these meals are all free, allowing guests to choose what they want, when they want it, without having to bother about bills. The barn is also the popular hangout spot for younger guests and offers the best ambiance for anything from a poolside summer party or a winter fireside gathering.
The Grolsch Bar sells premium Dutch beer, where else but in an airstream. The bar is of top international standards and is a major attraction in itself. The Grolsch bar is one of the handful of bars to serve the renowned German draught, which is poured out of a stainless steel tap that was specially imported all the from the Europe Union.
